Today is a very special day for me: Groundhog day. Every year, Punxatawny sees his shadow, and we settle in for 6 more weeks of winter. This year, however, the groundhog did NOT see his shadow, and though I'm sure this is because of the lack of sun we'v been suffering for at least a week now and most likely only proves that winter will NOT be over in 6 weeks, according to the myth, Spring is coming early!!
Maybe Mother Nature will take mercy on us, and indulge our little stories.... Please Mrs. N? I'd really love to see the sunshine....
