Awkward and Awesome (1)

This is my first week trying out the Awkward and Awesome project!  Exciting, right?  The project was started by Sydney over at The Daybook.  Usually, the posts are supposed to be on Thursday, so I'm a little late this week.  Better late than never though, right?  So here goes nothing

AWKWARD:
- Being late on my first Awkward and Awesome post
- The bulkiness of my new tripod
- The fact that I still haven't seen the Harry Potter movie...
-....and that Harry Potter is officially over, after having been around for more than half of my life
- Figuring out the time difference between here and Greece so that I don't text my brother at 3am.
- Trying to figure out how to use Pinterest

AWESOME:
- My new tripod!
- The U2 concert (definitely worth the one-year delay!!)
- The quad that I'm going to be living in with my roommates this Fall
- All the lovely comments you all have been leaving!  I love them <3
- Pinterest
- The ridiculously enormous impact that Harry Potter had on my generation

So how about you, Friends?  What's awkward or awesome about your life?  Make sure to link up here, and at The Daybook!!

  1. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't seen Harry Potter either

  2. I've just been working and haven't had a chance yet, but I hear it was amazing!
Do you just not like HP, or have you not had a chance?

  3. I'm so glad you got a pinterest! We need to be friends! :D You'll figure it out I'm sure. I JUST got home from seeing HP and I said to my sister "I'm so glad that I can count myself in the Harry Potter generation. Much better than the star wars and star trek generations" haha!

  4. I haven't either, but then again I never liked HP.

Hmm, I'd have to say I saw a cover band I really love last night, which was AWESOME. However, when the lead singer was singing "Anyway You Want It" by Journey, he called me up to the stage, serenaded me and kissed my hand. I was a bit red because sometimes standing in front of a huge crowd makes me shy.

  5. Gentri - I'm starting to figure it out (after spending entirely too much time "repinning" last night...)! And I think I'm following you on there :) As for Harry Potter, I definitely agree that I'm also really glad to say it was my generation. I'd never trade the midnight book releases and midnight movie showings (this last movie was the 1st one that I didn't see at midnight) for Star Wars or anything like that!

Beauty - That's awesome!!! I'd definitely be bright red as well!!

Thank you guys for commenting! :)
